Sammy and Poppy, two long term residents at our kennels reached the beach, albeit a few days late. On Tuesday 12th June they sampled the delights of a day on the sands at West Wittering , followed by a picnic in the shade. Sammy and Poppy were unable to attend RtB on Saturday because their strong chase instinct and unpredictable behaviour towards other dogs would have exhausted both them and their carers. However, Julie and Janie, two of our kennel hands were determined that they should have their day at the sea-side. So they collected Sammy and Poppy from the kennels on Tuesday morning and gave them their own special day out. We are pleased to report they had a most wonderful time, and returned safe and sound later in the afternoon. Heartfelt thanks to Julie and Janie for giving up their day off for these two much loved residents and making sure that they too Reached The Beach. Pictures to follow.
